HOW TO INSTALL FONTS ON A MAC

  1. If your file is a .zip file, unzip the file by double-clicking on it.

  2. Click on the folder, and look for the .OTF file.

  3. Double-click on the .OTF file. (Or choose Control > Open With > Font Book). This will open up your “Font Book”.

  4. You will see a preview of the font. This can either be a sentence like “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog”, or a preview of the upper and lowercase letters. The font designer chooses what this preview is.

  5. Click “install”.

  6. Make sure to restart the application you are using the fonts in to ensure the file shows up in the font menu.

  7. All of our fonts start with either “DTC” or “BFC”. If you own multiple fonts from us, you can scroll to find them all grouped together in your font menu.

  8. You are now ready to create!
