HOW TO INSTALL FONTS IN GOODNOTES
How to install fonts to use in Goodnotes.
Download the app “iFont” from the app store to your iPad.
Airdrop your .OTF font file (UNZIPPED) to your iPad.
Airdrop will pop up asking you where to open the file. Click “iFont”
If you’ve never installed a font before, it will open up the “Recents” folder where you will see your font. Click on it to download it to your device.
On the left hand side of the screen, you will see your font with the button “INSTALL” next to it. If you’ve never installed a font, click Install, then click “continue” after reading the terms.
Next it will ask for your permission. Click “Allow”. Then click “close" and then “cancel”.
Exit out of iFont, and go to your iPad settings.
In your settings, you should see a red notification. Mine is under “More For Your iPad”. What you are looking for is “Profile Downloaded”.
On Profile Downloaded, click “View Profile”. You will see the font name you are trying to install. Click “install” at the top right. You may have to enter your passcode here.
I get a warning at this step. I go ahead and click “install” twice. Then “done”.
Now the font is installed to your device.
When you open Goodnotes, the font will be loaded in your font menu ready to use. Scroll down to the name of the font (all of our fonts start with “BFC…”
